Can you tell me if NextGen allows tie ins to running
Crystal Reports or VB apps that launch CRs exes?
Can you reccomend a NextGen course?

Quite a bit, depending on the organization the IT staff belongs to (individual consultant, part of an MSO, etc).

I think the situation is analogous to that noted by Sharon, above — you may have to already be a NextGen client to be eligible for their “power user” training classes. You should check with your NextGen or ASP liaison about that.

If you’re not a user, and would like to get an EMR intro, the thing to do is to contact a NextGen rep about setting up a demo for you; they’ll probably come out to you, and may arrange for you to see the system in action at a live practice nearby.

I would like to attend training session with NextGen on the EMR portion of the EHR. Can you direct me to classes that are available for the September and October 2008. I understand there are classes in Irvine, California. I am in the Southern California area.

OK, Sharon –

I’m told that to go to the Users Group Meeting, you have to already be “on” NextGen, and then they send you info about it in the Spring, around March.

You should be able to talk to your NG liaison person about getting hooked up.
